I am considering a mini Aussie as my next working dog. I am the trainer for Louisiana Search and Rescue Dog team, http://www.lasardogs.org as well as the first contractor to the FBI for their victim recovery team (outside of their office). My Aussie, Maggie was the first dog that they took on for the role as cold case homicide detection. I loved living and working with my Maggie. Sadly at thirteen plus years of age she has gone on where all good dogs go when their time here with us is done. I thought that a smaller version might be advantageous to the work that we do. I would need to know a bit more about them to know for sure if we would make a good team. Would you be willing to talk with me (email is fine) about your pups? I was given your name by another friend in FL that works in SAR as well.
