Top Pacific Northwest Basenji show breeders. We have been showing and breeding since 1993 and have bred 50 + AKC home bred bench and field champions to date and many more getting ready to becoming champions. DP Basenjis breeding goals our temperament, health, and quality. We are not a backyard breeder or a puppy mill, our dogs are health tested and we REALLY do have champion lines, just not champions somewhere in the pedigree. Our dogs are registered with AKC (American Kennel Club), and not with some other registration for animals without provable pedigrees. Our Basenjis are loving, family companions, born, raised and live in our home. Outstanding examples of the breed – health and temperament a priority! Our basenjis have been tested for Fanconi Syndrome by the University of Missouri which has the first and only predictive test available for Fanconi Syndrome. We are members in good standing with AKC, and our National and local breed clubs. Companion and show quality puppies, young adults and retired show dogs available occasionally on spay/neuter companion or show contracts. If you think you might be interested in one of our dogs please contact us to begin the adoption process.
I’m interested in getting some information regarding Basenji pups! Not looking for a show dog, just a companion. Looking to find out cost of puppies and when litters are due! Thank you
Hello. we have adopted 3 basenjis from BRAT, after our frst Basenji passed away, he was 16 years old.
Our next baby was named Nemo, from BRAT, he was with us from age 4 to age 7, he ended his life with cancer.
We do have a sprite little girl from another rescue, she is a full Basenji, came to us as sick as can be, but now, she is the best of the breed! Healthy, and have not a problem with her!
We have more love to give and got Finn, a problem from the start, he had surgery, special diet now, but we deal with it. One more baby will be great! We need another 4 legged baby!!
Hi. I’am interested in a basenji puppy or older dog who is comfortable with a cat. (17 lbs.). We have adopted through BRAT in the past but none of the dogs currently available fit my circumstances. The back yard has a 5 foot fence. There is a 20 x 10 foot kennel within that yard. Many trees provide shade. Lost our last red in August. His sister 2 years prior. They were adopted at 7 weeks thru BRAT.
Inquiring about a Basenji puppy for companion.
We have a 10 acre property, so lots of space for a dog.
