I JUST PUT DOWN MY DOG BEAR ON MONDAY. WE HAD HIM FOR 13 YEARS. I JUST TONIGHT REALIZED WHAT HIS TYPE OF DOG WAS CALLED. THE ONE PICTURE I FOUND ON THE WEB SITE LOOKED JUST LIKE MY BEAR. I HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO FIND THIS TYPE OF DOG IN CHICAGO, AT LEAST NOT ON THE INTERNET. WHERE IS FOWLERVILLE?I GO TO MICHIGAN QUITE OFTEN BUT MOSTLY THE SOUTHERN PART. I SURE WOULD LIKE TO HAVE ANOTHER DOG LIKE BEAR. HE WS GREAT. BEST DOG I EVER HAD. I HAVE ANOTHER DOG MAURY AND HE MISSES HIM AS WELL. I FEEL REALLY SORRY FOR HIM, HE SEEMS TO BE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR BEAR. I WOULD BE INTERESTED TO VISIT IF YOU HAVE WHOODLES FOR SALE. IF YOU CAN SEND ME SOME INFO THAT WOULD BE GREAT CHERYL MILLER
I have a 1 yr old male whoodle named Teddy, because he looks so much like a teddy bear. He is affectionate and playful, and acclimates well with other dogs. He has not been fixed and needs to be. He needs to be house broke again as I have health problems and have not been able to work with him. He is extremely inteligent and learns very quickly. It breaks my heart to part from him, but to know he would be going to a home where the family refers to their animals as their best friend, would make the parting less painful.
Please let me know if you are interested in Teddy. I can send picutures if you like.
The woman who ran this operation was arrested. Now she might be in Florida. Stay away from her.
A Howell Township woman suspected of operating a puppy mill was arraigned this morning on animal cruelty charges.
Margaret Elaine Komorny pleaded not guilty before a magistrate in 53rd District Court in Howell this morning. Personal bond was set at $5,000, with conditions that she have no new animals. She is, however, allowed to maintain the horses on her farm and two stray cats that live near her home.
Does anyone have information about the puppies that were sold from Whoodles or Raisin Tree? I adopted my sweet girl from a litter born on 9/1/11.
Can be reached by email at ksal525@yahoo.com.
We adopted a 4-month-old puppy from Raisin Tree in March 2013. He was quite shy as a puppy, and that has evolved into terrible anxiety. He is afraid of everything, and can be very aggressive, even with us (his family). We have to manage him carefully around other dogs and around guests in our home; we even have to protect ourselves from him when he is provoked (we have learned many of his triggers). I don’t know if he was ever beaten or struck by anyone at Raisin Tree, but our poor boy is clearly damaged.
